We realize that our grade level and group size limitations for tours, though necessary for safety and logistical reasons, can preclude some individuals from learning the valuable lesson about the fascinating process of wastewater treatment. We also know that not every group with an interest has the ability to come out to our facility. That's why we offer a School Talks Program, where members of our staff can go to your location and speak to your group.
The topics we can speak on vary, ranging from the wastewater treatment process to water quality and environmental stewardship, in general. We can customize a presentation to meet your topic and time requirements, or provide a general overview of what the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District is all about. Presentations have been given to a wide variety of audiences, from elementary school students through community organizations.
An advance notice of two weeks is preferred for scheduling a presentation, perhaps more if you choose a more customized presentation. In general, presentations to school groups last approximately one hour, and all of our presentations can be adapted to meet your time needs.
Contact us if you would like to discuss a presentation for your group. |
