GBMSD has been operating a voluntary Ambient Water Quality Monitoring Program (AWQMP) since 1986 on the waters of the lower Fox River and Bay of Green Bay.  GBMSD has committed to this long-term monitoring program to better understand the quality of its receiving waters and to provide data to other institutions and agencies working on water quality issues in the area.
